With not being able to hold events in the JAH, we have put together a presentation for Year 11 Parents. The presentation sets out the principles and strategies relating to GCSE study, how assessment is structured over Year 11 and 12 and also information relating to entry criteria to our sixth form. The presentation is approximately 35 minutes in length and if there any questions relating to it, you can either contact me at school by phone or send me an e mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Head of Year 11.
Due to current restrictions and the limited capacity of our hall at this time, unfortunately, we have been unable to run our usual Information sessions for the parents of Sixth form pupils. These induction sessions would have highlighted a number of key areas in relation to life in the sixth form, our expectations, assessment, examinations, work experience, and preparation for UCAS application. There are separate presentations with commentary for Year 13 and Year 14.
You can access them by opening the respective links below.
With us unable at this time to run our annual P6 Information Evening, we have created a presentation with explanations in a 20 minute video. It contains the details around how to go about applying and how the AQE exam process next academic year will work. Please find below a link to the presentation.
