Phantom of the Opera

Dalriada pupils prepare to transport their audience to the world of the Opera Populaire with their portrayal of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s renowned musical, ‘The Phantom of the Opera’.

With rehearsals in progress, the cast and crew of over 250 pupils, under the direction of Mrs Kane and Mrs Montgomery, are working towards what should prove to be a thrilling four-night run of performances from Wednesday 3rd December to Saturday 6th December.

Tickets on sale to general public from Thursday 6th November.

Dalriada’s very own ‘Angel of Music’, Rachel McClelland, will be performing alongside David Tang who is taking on the illustrious role of The Phantom. Their chilling collaboration is in contrast to the romantic moments between Christine and her beau, Raoul, ably played by Chris Nevin. This melodrama contrasts with the much needed comical relief provided by Carlotta and Piangi, played by the charismatic pair, Hannah Frizzell and Daniel White.

The stage is being set, the lines are being learned and parts are being prepped. We can assure you that this show will lie long in the memory of those who will experience it, both on and off the stage. So why not come along and hear the haunting ‘Music of the Night’…..?
