A group of 9 Year 10 and 12 girls volunteered to attend Antrim Forum as ball girls, to watch and facilitate in a magnificent match between Botswana and Barbados.
We ball girls were amazed at the terrific talent and super skills of all the players. We hope to transfer some of their skills into our matches!
Being ball girls, it was our duty to catch the ball quickly or clean up water or sweat on the court. We were lucky as most of us got the opportunity to touch the ball at least once.
After the excitement, we went to get some refreshments at Burger King. After the food we went to Antrim Forum to see another successful match were Northern Ireland beat St Lucia!
