Comeback Victory For The U14 Football Team

A traditional battling performance has seen the Dalriada U14 Boys footballers secure a fine victory in a hard fought 3-2 victory over North Coast Integrated College.

Both teams had to overcome appalling conditions, as the Ballymoney boys showed real fighting spirit to come from being 1-2 down at half time, to take home the Coleraine and District Shield.

Two second half goals from defender Jack Currie, after an early opener from Thomas Hunter, proved to be just enough to secure victory in a hard fought game.

Top performances from Robert Simpson, Paddy Graham and Stuart Kennedy and once again a steady show from goalkeeper Scott Gamble.

Well done to Mr McQuillan for coaching the team and taking them through the tournament undefeated.
